Our thanks to our committed volunteers and valued customers for supporting the SFCOA (Stow Friends of the Council on Aging) in our fundraising efforts during the Stow Holly Day Sale.
Most of the handmade items you saw at this annual sale and in the gift shop were created by the ladies in our SFCOA Craft Group. This group of eight work ten months a year creating items both in class and at home for the sole purpose of supporting SFCOA. Side note: Some of these ladies have known each other for 30+ years, are now retired and have been part of this craft group for 10+ years.
We also want to recognize the generous volunteers from our community who donate beautiful handmade items for the same cause. We live in a town filled with so many generous and talented people. We thank you for your support.
A wonderful time was had by all and we look forward to sponsoring this event again in 2023.
Our thanks to the Ladies in the COA Quilt Group for creating this beautiful quilt and donating it to SFCOA to be raffled off at our 2022 Stow Holly Day Sale. The quilt is a work of art and admired by all who viewed it. The winner was so happy to hear that he had the winning ticket.
